ACTIVITIES

We have an active youth ministry programme at the church. Most activities are normally held in The Basement.

The Basement is a room in the Halls building that is used exclusively by the young people of Maxwell Mearns Castle Church. It is completely self-contained with a kitchen to make teas and coffees and has toilets and storage space. It has been decorated for the young people by the young people. We have a pool table and a couple of video games with access to sound and video equipment, as well as space to have meetings or just hang out. All young people are welcome to come to any of the activities. Check out what’s in it for YOUth at Maxwell Mearns Castle Church.

For more information contact the church office 0141-639-5169 or e-mail

As we are now in LENT some of you might want to look at some form of reflection to add to your Lent time and I highly recommend the Christian Aid 'Count your Blessings' resource, to allow Lent to be a time of reflection and preparation rather than just a time to give up biscuits.
