Speaking the truth in love, we will … grow up into him who
is the Head … Christ. (Ephesians 4: 15)
By establishing Home Groups for a variety of categories of
people, we hope to include ALL in a group which suits
individual needs and styles/tastes. These groups encourage
both fellowship and Christian growth. They organise their
own programmes and develop their leadership whilst keeping
links with the Church body. See page 16 for further details
of where Home Groups meet.

Come let us sing for joy to the Lord. (Psalm 95)
We are always trying to sense how the Spirit of God is
moving in this church today and reflect this in our various
styles of worship services.
You will soon discover that many styles of music are used in
worship at MMCC, as well as a range of musicians and singers
for whom we give God thanks. By using both traditional hymns
and more modern worship songs, we hope to reflect the
diversity of musical interests of our congregation. At the
same time, we try to take account of the diversity of
backgrounds people have in the form of worship they are used
to.
Our services make use of multi-media presentations and
drama, as well as involving people in the ‘kid’s slot’ or in
leading or preaching. If you would like to contribute to our
worship by playing an instrument, singing, helping with AV
projection or sound, please let us know. Or if you are
interested in developing worship and have ideas to share and
discuss, then please phone the minister’s secretary at the
church office, or contact:

Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care. (1
Peter 5: 2)
By prayer and practical help, we seek to support and
encourage anyone going through difficult times. We visit at
home or in hospital, deliver flowers and magazines, give
lifts to appointments, and can offer trained counselling or
simply a listening ear, sensitive to the need for
confidentiality. Of special concern are the elderly with
whom we try to maintain regular contact.
