Millennium Banner

A circle is never ending and as such, a symbol of eternity and God. The banner design is largely based on this, and on the triangle which, being three sided, depicts the trinity.
Inspiration cam from Psalm 139 verses 9 and 10
"If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there shall thy hand lead me and thy right hand shall hold me."
This seemed appropriate in the dawn of a new century, both for the church and the world at large.
Colour and movement within the banner indicate excitement and the challenge of the new years to come, and they are held firm within the strong lines of the cross.
